Wind Horse Integrative Bodywork provides craniosacral therapy for people and horses. All humans are invited to experience the relaxing therapeutic benefits of craniosacral therapy in our beautiful serene office in San Jose with convenient access from Highways 17/880 and 85. Sessions for equines will take place wherever they are stabled within the greater San Francisco Bay Area. Our home stable is Indian Hills Ranch in Milpitas, CA.
If desired, Wind Horse Integrative Bodywork will evaluate horse and rider gaits separately in hand and while riding as part of a total package prior to separate treatments to gain baseline knowledge of assymmetries and restrictions that may need work. Often a biomechanical problem can be transferred from the rider to the horse and from the horse to the rider. It is our goal to break through any restrictions for a more supple and functional movement to improve performance and comfort for the horse and rider.
Craniosacral therapy is a light touch therapy that aids the nervous system to achieve a more balanced state of being.
Clients will be fully clothed during the session and asked to lie on their back on a comfortably padded massage table. Work on equines is basically similar, except we don't ask them to lie on their backs on a massage table!
Typically a session will include soft energy touches on the cranial sutures and several points along the main vertebral column including the sacrum. The work is quite subtle, but can be very effective in resolving long held chronic restrictions within the body. Often clients of both species will drop into a deep relaxed state during the session. Accupressure points may be used during treatment.
Sometimes deep seated emotional and physical traumas will resurface to be released during these sessions. We are trained to dialogue during these sessions to aid in the release of the trauma in a safe and private manner, but will gladly refer to another professional for further emotional processing.
Wind Horse will combine trigger point, sports massage, accupressure and craniosacral therapies for equines. Often the best approach for most horses is craniosacral therapy, however, more vigorous trigger point or sports massage may be helpful in soothing muscle spasms.

INTRODUCTORY SPECIAL!
$60/HR OFFICE SESSION
For people, Wind Horse Integrative Bodywork will provide light touch therapies at our office in San Jose.
For equines, Wind Horse Integrative Bodywork will make ranch calls. Work will be done in their stall or pen. If stall or pen is not available, a flat, safe surface without other animals in the space is required. (We have pasture horses and know how much pasture does for their minds and well being!)
For an extra charge, both human and equine work can be done within the same visit. We will bring a massage table for human work.
We share the office with Kyle Elliott, DC and Triotherapy should you desire chiropractic and deep tissue/sports massage services. We not only share the suite, we share the philosophy of providing topnotch healthcare services in a beautiful serene environment.
